2ŁØT have released their latest single 'I Hurt Myself Again', a reflective and slow-building track that continues to expand the emotional scope of their forthcoming album 'RE/SOLVE'.
Built around a looping two-chord structure first developed during a 2025 writing retreat at Matt Sorum’s Palm Springs studio, the song leans into restraint rather than immediate release. Sparse rhythms and layered production create an atmosphere that mirrors the track’s central theme: the way memories and emotions can shift shape over time.
Guest appearances from Cameron McCloud and Elise Trouw add further depth to the arrangement. McCloud’s contribution folds naturally into the song’s introspective tone, while Trouw’s vocals offer an alternate perspective that complements the track’s emotional ambiguity.
The song also introduces orchestral elements through string arrangements by Kyle Gordon, performed with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra. Despite the larger sonic palette, the production remains grounded in intimacy and subtle movement.
'I Hurt Myself Again' follows previous singles from 'RE/SOLVE', a project that appears to focus less on chaos itself and more on the emotional aftermath that follows. The release continues to refine the band’s evolving blend of electronic textures, live instrumentation, and emotionally driven songwriting.
