5 songs I love w/ Lili Caseley

Updated: Nov 25, 2022

Following the release of Lili Caseley's new single Al Pacino, we caught up with the artist to gain some insight into the influences that make up their sound. If you like Lili's choices, be sure to check out the new track at the bottom of the page.

Carly Simon - You’re So Vain

I wrote Al Pacino inspired by this song. It’s sassy and very cleverly written

Paul Simon - 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover

When I was deciding on ending a relationship I would listen to this on repeat . It helped . Kind of.

Shakira - Hips Don’t Lie

My French cousin was obsessed with Shakira growing up and she would dance to this doing the hip dance.

Dolly Parton - Jolene

Amazingly written song. Amazing melody. Timeless really. Although if the man wants to leave he can just leave. If he can be drawn that easily by beauty then there probably wasn’t much substance in the relationship to begin with.

Mariza - O Genre de Minha Terra

A song that represents Portugal for me. My grandma sings this all the time at family occasions with a black shawl on.
