‘In The Morning Ft. Mike Champion’ features playful drums and neat guitar parts. Vocals are softly penned but irresistible and work hand in glove with well-penned lyrics. The grooving bassline that can be found in between provides the perfect image for golden hour. This is taken from the upcoming EP, ‘A Letter To My Next’ details topics such as pursuing love and the tribulations of relationships gone by.
Discussing his message behind the release of his upcoming EP, Melkior explains: “Follow your heart, take a chance on love, and put yourself out there, tell that person how much they mean to you, how you see them and what you’re feeling. Put your cards on the table. It might not work and that's ok but you'll be better for it. You never know, you might be surprised and it might be the best thing you have ever done.”
Having been lorded by the likes of BBC1Xtra, Reprezent, and Amazing Radio to name just a few, Melkior’s clearly headed in the right direction. Having nurtured an interest in music from the backseat of his parent's car, Melkior has come a long way and has landed lucrative sync deals with Adidas Esp, The NorthFace, Office Shoes, and acclaim via Warner Music’s Topsify playlist. 2022 has Melkior’s name written all over it, and we can’t wait to see what's next.
