Pop duo REUNIØN have really made a name for themselves over the past year by releasing perfectly crafted and engrossing music. They’re now back to finish the year in the best way possible with the release of their new nostalgic single ‘Under the Wild Sea’

‘Under the Wild Sea’ is a soothing offering which allows listeners to feel a sense of relief. The track opens up with charming piano and delicate vocals which build to a moment where as a listener you feel a sense of fulfilment. Perfectly suited for this time of the year.

The pair spoke out about the meaning behind ‘Under the Wild Sea’.

“’ This song is about trying to find some calm and clarity, away from the chaos and rush of modern life. Jon had the lyrical idea whilst travelling and reconnecting with family- that being one of being present and turning down some of the noise, remembering what matters in life from a place of calmness. He mumbled out those words and ideas to Eliot and very quickly the song began to form around it- lots of hopeful and nostalgic piano chords alongside synths and strings to try and place us under the waves”

REUNIØN is the creative outlet for Eliot James and Jon Green who both have notable credits to their names. Eliot has worked with Two Door Cinema Club, Noah & The Whale, Bloc Party and Jon noted for his work with James Bay, Kylie and Linkin Park.
