SWEEPR releases signature sounding single “Overtime”

Admin

SWEEPR has always wanted to create something different. Inspired by Ian Vahn Dahl’s, “Castles In The Sky,” he’s set out to do this within his music. Bending genre rules and taking inspiration from a whole host of different musicians, his sound comes as refreshing and unique.

His latest offering “Overtime” will be sure to make an impression. With danceable beats and immersive synths, the track will be sure to pick you up and leave you wanting more. “Overtime” merges electronic and cinematic together perfectly.

When speaking on the new release, he said, “Overtime was actually the first track I had an idea for when thinking about the Night Shift EP. Night Shift and Overtime are inspired from “working overtime” or staying up late through the night. It’s a mixture of work culture but also rave culture, and figuring out how to balance the two. A large group of our friends were all born in Oct/Nov and we were in Las Vegas together. A few of us were still up around 7am, and that’s when I had the idea to write the Night Shift EP. Overtime was the first track I started writing lyrics for, but as I said, it took on a brand new path since that day.”

We’re very excited about SWEEPR’s journey.
