Tottenham-based artist common goldfish makes his debut with the infectious single ‘Feel The Fuzz’.

Opening with a huge bass line and crunching drum beat the track soon introduces a sea of layered guitar riffs before introducing the ultra-chilled, ultra-cool and deceptively catchy lead vocal. Capturing a nostalgic, euphoric essence of the 90s with the Stone Roses & Happy Mondays-esque soundscape, the South London native fully captures his ongoing love for the era he grew up in.

Speaking on the single, common goldfish said:

“The track embodies the sense of dreamer’s optimism (“the fuzz”) and the feeling that led me to change career paths and pursue my passion in music. We only lead one life, Feel the Fuzz is about helping people see that they should value their experiences over materials and not always seek the easy options in life.”

Alongside the release of ‘Feel The Fuzz’, common goldfish is marking the occasion by throwing a launch party at Tottenham’s Markfield Skatepark on 6th March 2022. The event will see that act perform in the skatepark for an intimate audience, which will be filmed by BAFTA crew members for a music video, set to drop 21st April 2022.

While ‘Feel The Fuzz’ is the first release as common goldfish, under the moniker J Love, his production and songwriting credits have received critical acclaim across a number of big hitting publishers including Mixtape Madness, New Wave Magazine and GRM Daily.
