New York ensemble Young Allies have shared their latest single 'Fingers Entwined', alongside the announcement of their upcoming debut EP and a new music video expanding the band’s evolving creative world.

Originally formed around the songwriting of frontman Fritz Michel, Young Allies has gradually developed into a fully collaborative project, something reflected clearly in the new track’s layered and understated arrangement. Built around guitars, keys, rhythm section interplay and intertwined vocal textures, the song prioritises atmosphere and group chemistry over dramatic hooks.

The release also draws inspiration from visual art, beginning with a series of double-exposed Polaroid images by Natalie White. Themes of uncertainty, intimacy and emotional risk run throughout the writing, with references to games of chance woven subtly into the song’s structure.

Alongside the single, the band continue their ongoing residency at LIC Bar, where weekly performances have become central to the group’s identity and development.
