This song feels very nostalgic to me because it reminds me of my childhood, as my parents were great lovers of Michael Jackson’s music. It is a timeless record with a message about sharing love with the world. I love how beautiful the song feels, from the funky groove and bass line to the rich 90s production. The key change towards the end, together with the choral finish, feels truly heavenly.
India Arie – I am Light
The guitar strums and opening melody of this song are breathtaking. I was inspired to learn the guitar because of India Arie, and the way she allows the music to breathe through her gentle, soulful vocals feels truly awakening. This song feels almost surreal, and I deeply admire its composition, lyrics, and melody. India Arie is a gift to our generation, and I hope my own music can make the kind of impact hers has made.
Madison Ryann Ward – Chosen
It’s a soulful R&B track carried by the beautiful vocals of Madison Ryann Ward. I love this song because it feels both calming and uplifting, with outstanding musical choices that make it sonically rich and captivating. As the opening track on her album New Thing, it sets such a powerful tone. I often listen to it in the morning as a reminder of the lyric, “I am chosen for beautiful things.”
Lecrae ft Tori Kelly – I’ll find you

The lyrics speak about enduring tough times and believing you can rise above the storms of life. It is a powerful record, and one I often return to for inspiration whenever I’m creating new music.
Chandler Moore – I have a Father
The song captures the kind of fatherly love that gives fully without asking to be repaid, a love that simply wants you to feel safe and secure. It makes me feel held and deeply loved, reminding me that I am cared for. The choral section rises beautifully towards the end, blending with a catchy bass line, while the arrangement and composition are both rich and intentional.
