On the back of his transformative new EP 'Way Back Home' out today, we sat down with indie-folk troubadour Joshu to learn all about the 5 songs he loves, exclusively for FLEX!

1. Adrianne Lenker - Not a Lot, Just Forever (Live from Greenwich Village with Nick Hakim)
I could have chosen 5 Adrianne Lenker songs for this! But her performance here is just so perfect. Her guitar playing is absolutely impeccable and this song brings me to tears pretty much every time.
2. The Magic Lantern - Holding Hands
I love this song beyond measure. I come back to it in times of deep struggle and it always helps me profoundly. It’s so sad but deeply hopeful all at once.
3. Nick Mulvey - Fever To The Form
“So whether music or madness, we’ll live by one of the two” I LOVE THIS SONG. The way the guitar keeps us bound in a kind of trance through the whole song, the steady vocals and stunning lyrics. Nick is a legend of the game.
4. Oracle Sisters - Asc. Scorpio
Absolute banger, feel good, ultimate catchy summer tune of my life. As @juliandesbats777 says in the youtube comments, “This is what it feels like to walk at night while being alone and happy”. Facts.
5. King Short Shirt - Nobody Go Run Me
As an Antiguan, this song is basically our default national anthem. From what is probably the best album to ever come out of our island, it’s a masterclass in both political calypso and straight unadulterated vibes!
