Since the release of their latest single 'Capone' earlier this month, rappers Myles Reed and Kevin Kloud have received huge amounts of love for their bright and diverse flows. ‘Capone’ is a carefree summer jam that evokes the vibes of poolside lounging and late night highway cruising.
But with such an interesting and unique process, we wanted to know what has inspired their sound all these years. So we asked them both what five tracks they love to get a better idea of their influences.
Myles: I picked these as vibes, that I’m feeling lately this list would probably change every two weeks but there are definitely a few in here I’ve been feeling for the last few months.
● Iced out Gold Chain - Guapdad 4000
● Martin & Gina - Polo G
● World in My Palms - Ysn Fab
● Nana - Frvrfriday
● Ride or Die - Lil Berete, anders
Kevin: I could pick 5 songs that I love that are just Uzi or songs that everyone knows, but I tried to pick 5 that represent me and go a little deeper than that.
● 20k - J.I the Prince of N.Y
● Cool J - Roy Woods
● Fiebre - Bad Gyal
● Silver Skies - Manila Grey
● My Collection - Future
