Following the release of their latest single 'Dead Flowers', we caught up with Italian alt-rock band TEASERS to find out what influences their eclectic sound. If you enjoy TEASERS picks be sure to check out 'Dead Flowers' at the end of the article.
1. ARCARSENAL - AT THE DRIVE IN
"The opening track of one of the most influential post-hardcore albums of the 2000s and a masterpiece of aggressive melody and poetry combined at the same time ready to bare your guts and brains in one shot."
2. MORNING GLORY - OASIS
"This song and this album have accompanied us since we were in middle school and will probably continue to accompany us on our travels as long as we want to listen and play music and go to concerts...there is no need to say anything else."
3. NO PUN INTENDED – THE HIVES
"The Hives singer once said "no one needs an adult rock band"... and this is precisely the teaching we carry with us from the Hives: have fun, don't think too much, don't take yourself too seriously, hit hard, jump, dance...rock'n'roll."
4. CHICAGO – SUFJAN STEVENS
"All four of us are fans of melodies that tear your heart out of your chest, so how can we not all agree on Sufjan Stevens. Among other things, this song brings with it the message and the promise of new beginnings, leaving something of us behind...precisely the premise with which we began the course of our band. we are necessarily connected to this song."
5. JUMPIN’ JACK FLASH – THE ROLLING STONES
"History. One of the best songs ever written. Anyone who listens to it can find a piece of themselves in it. Pure magic!"
