AUDIOGUST: The Seattle songwriter behind 'Amaze You'

AudioGust, the Seattle-based songwriter and producer releasing one of this year's more quietly affecting singles in 'Amaze You', is exactly that kind of music fan. 'Amaze You' opens his forthcoming album This Time Or Any Other, due 17th July, and was described by AudioGust himself as arriving fully formed in a single day. The bridge, which strips everything back to an acapella vocal before the final chorus rebuilds around it, was an accident of the mixing process that turned out to be the emotional centrepiece of the whole track.
