Dublin alt-rock outfit Big Sleep have released their poignant new single 'Old Friend', the final glimpse of their forthcoming debut album 'Holy Show', due out February 20th via LAB Records.

A slow-burning anthem that builds from hushed intimacy to full-throttle catharsis, 'Old Friend' reflects on friendship, grief, and gratitude in the face of loss and change. “It’s about those we’ve loved and lost, and the ones still standing beside us,” the band explains.

Layered with sweeping guitar lines and emotionally-charged vocals, the single serves as a thematic conclusion to 'Holy Show', an album rooted in love, impermanence, and emotional messiness. Aptly named after the Irish phrase “a holy show” (used to describe a chaotic or embarrassing situation), the record promises a coming-of-age narrative that leans into vulnerability, cinematic storytelling, and raw humanity.
