Swedish singer-songwriter Boy In Space (Robin Lundbäck) returns with his vibrant new EP 'The Butterfly Affect'. A bold sonic evolution for the artist, the five-track collection merges the sleek polish of Scandinavian pop with the rich storytelling and acoustic textures of American country and Americana—marking a poignant turning point in his ever-evolving musical journey.
Recorded between Tennessee and Sweden, the EP sees Boy In Space embrace a more organic sound, introducing acoustic arrangements and country-inspired production while maintaining the introspective lyricism that has earned him a devoted global fanbase. The intentionally misspelled title The Butterfly Affect nods to the EP’s internal focus—charting a journey of self-reflection, emotional healing, and creative renewal after a transformative year.
“This project is about my own metamorphosis,” explains Boy In Space. “It represents the impact of small emotional shifts and choices—how they ripple through your life. It’s not about chaos theory; it’s about growing from within.”
Among the EP’s new additions is 'Burning Down The House', co-produced by NOTD’s Oskar Widén and Samuel Brandt. The song found its magic during a Stockholm writing session, elevated even further by a surprise violin contribution from Oskar’s mother.
