Brannen makes the moment feel bigger on new single ‘Keep Dancing With Me’

Brannen’s second single understands one of dance music’s simplest pleasures is that sometimes you don't want the night to progress; you just want the moment you're already inside to last.
‘Keep Dancing With Me’ takes that feeling and gives it warmth, movement and a welcome sense of scale. Following the more introductory statement of ‘Tulips’, the Scottish producer sounds increasingly comfortable combining melodic house with the instincts developed through more than two decades as a musician and drummer.
At moving at a traditonal house BPM, the track has a natural, unfussy drive. Its pulse is steady enough for the dancefloor, but he's not looking to build everything around impact. Atmospheric layers and bright melodies gradually fill the space around the beat, while the vocal gives the music an emotional focal point.
The rhythm keeps insisting on forward motion while the song itself is asking time to slow down. ‘Keep Dancing With Me’ lives inside that contradiction, turning a fleeting experience into something temporarily suspended through repetition.
Brannen’s background behind a drum kit is valuable here. The percussion feels embedded in the track’s musical character, giving the groove a sense of physicality beneath the smoother electronic textures.
‘Tulips’ established the foundations; ‘Keep Dancing With Me’ starts defining the personality. There's rhythm, atmosphere and optimism here, but also an understanding that electronic music can create emotional connection without sacrificing movement.
Warm, uplifting and increasingly assured, ‘Keep Dancing With Me’ captures Brannen finding his stride, and making a convincing argument for staying on the dancefloor a little longer.
