In an era where so much guitar music seems consumed by cynicism, anxiety, and disillusionment, Brook Fox arrives with something refreshingly different. His debut EP 'Everybody’s In Love' is a vibrant and emotionally charged collection that looks directly at the challenges of modern life but chooses hope over despair, and optimism over defeat.

Across four carefully crafted tracks, he proves himself to be more than just another emerging indie-rock songwriter. There is a genuine warmth running through this release that feels increasingly rare. While many artists document the world burning around them, Brook Fox focuses on the people who help us survive the flames.

From the opening moments of 'Together', the EP establishes an uplifting sense of purpose. Driven by energetic guitar work and an undeniable emotional sincerity, the track immediately showcases his ability to write songs that feel both intimate and expansive. There is an authenticity to his songwriting that makes every lyric resonate, as though these stories have been lived by real people.

'Rome' broadens the emotional landscape further, capturing the romance of shared experiences and the way ordinary moments can become unforgettable when viewed through the lens of companionship. The artist has a talent for turning simple observations into something cinematic, giving the song an anthemic quality without sacrificing its personal touch.

One of the EP’s strongest moments arrives with 'Anywhere With You', a track that perfectly balances soaring indie-rock energy with heartfelt vulnerability. Built around infectious melodies and a euphoric sense of momentum, it reminds us why they fell in love with indie-rock in the first place.

The title-track 'Everybody’s In Love' brings everything together beautifully. Beneath its bright exterior lies a thoughtful reflection on the state of the world, touching on social frustrations and cultural divides while never losing sight of the importance of human connection. But rather than becoming weighed down by these themes, the song transforms them into a rallying cry for empathy, understanding, and togetherness.

Musically, the EP strikes an impressive balance between raw acoustic foundations and larger indie-rock ambitions. The arrangements feel rich and dynamic, allowing his own distinctive voice to remain at the centre of every song.

For a debut release, 'Everybody’s In Love' feels remarkably confident and fully realised. It showcases an artist with a clear voice, a strong sense of identity, and a gift for writing songs that connect on both a personal and universal level.

Brook Fox may be at the beginning of his journey, but if this EP is any indication, he is already crafting the kind of music that people return to when they need reminding that even during difficult times, there is still joy to be found, still people worth holding onto, and still reasons to believe in brighter days ahead.
