CATBEAR embrace the shadows on mesmerising new single 'Darkness'

Brighton and South London alt-pop duo CATBEAR dive deep into brooding nocturnal territory on their latest release 'Darkness', a pulsing darkwave cut built for city lights and quiet introspection. The track serves as the latest preview of their upcoming second album 'For Now, For Ever', due October 24.

Crafted in Zoe Konez’s home studio during a period of reflection, 'Darkness' is both intimate and cinematic, where minimalist synths and hypnotic beats meet ethereal vocals that swell into something quietly defiant. It’s a track that sits somewhere between Robyn’s emotional pop and The Cure’s shadowy mystique.

“It’s about navigating those darker moods and finding the strength to keep moving,” explains Zoe.
