The Tiniest Light is the newest release from Italian rock writer Charlie Tonight, released alongside World Refugee Day. The track explores themes of leaving home and displacement, with the video's protagonist heading from Europe’s shores to the African coast. With Sam Fender-style guitar work, emotive vocal lines, and glowing chorus harmonies, this is Charlie’s most powerful work yet.

Discussing the release, Charlie explains:

“The Tiniest Light is about love, longing, being forced to leave - your partner, your country, your home. A migrant finding himself/herself at sea at night, looking for hope. Hope for survival. Hope for a better future. That's what all human beings have in common, on either side of the Mediterranean Sea. That's why in the video I imagined migration in the opposite direction: from Europe to Africa. Would we approach it the same way if it were us Western people to have to leave for the unknown?”

Charlie Tonight emerges from the ambition of the possibility that one day, one night - or tonight - guitarist, singer and songwriter Charlie will play on the best stages in the world. Born a rock musician but temporarily misled into the quest for classical superstardom, Charlie is making her return alongside an electrifying band, on a frantic search for loud sound and looking ahead to her debut album. Since releasing her debut single ‘Do You Want Me (Come On)’ earlier in 2024, Charlie gears up to release her latest anthem ‘Lost It’ as she continues to turn heads with her riotous rock n roll swagger.
