Multi-national record label Cheerful Music appeared at the 10th Anniversary of The AI Summit London, joining one of the world's leading gatherings focused on artificial intelligence and innovation. Founder and CEO Snow Jiang, alongside UK A&R Manager Sergio Veloz and producer He Zhu, participated in the panel discussion "Can AI Make Human Music More Valuable?", sharing the company's perspective on how AI is reshaping the music industry while reinforcing the importance of human creativity.

During the discussion, Cheerful Music emphasized that AI should serve as a creative tool rather than a replacement for artists. "As technology lowers the barriers to music production, the conversation is shifting from who can create to who can truly connect," said Sergio Veloz. "Human creativity remains the driving force behind great music because people connect with stories, experiences and identity."

The label also attracted considerable attention through its AI virtual artist Lynn (灵玥), whose promotional videos were showcased during the event. Despite rainy weather in London, attendees gathered to photograph the presentation and search for Lynn across social media, highlighting growing international interest in Cheerful Music's AI-driven artist IPs.

Cheerful Music also presented its approach to AI music creation, explaining that every release begins with human songwriters while AI is used to improve production efficiency. Lynn, the first major success from the company's AI Artist Program, combines licensed AI-trained vocals with entirely human-written songs. Her breakout single "RED" has generated more than 210 million views across short-form video platforms and appeared on multiple influential music charts. Looking ahead, the company revealed plans to further expand its virtual artist universe with additional characters, including YAN (炎昭) and PeanutsJack (花生杰克).

During the audience Q&A, Snow Jiang addressed topics including copyright, voice licensing and responsible AI development, stressing that Cheerful Music does not produce one-click AI-generated music and only trains AI vocal models using voices from artists who have entered paid licensing agreements. "We established a strict bottom line: no commercial AI training without the explicit consent of artists," she said, adding that AI should improve creative efficiency without compromising artistic originality or creators' rights.

One notable feature of the session was the diversity of the audience, with many questions coming from professionals outside the music industry. Their perspectives reflected growing cross-industry interest in the relationship between AI, creativity and intellectual property, while reinforcing Cheerful Music's position as a company exploring the future of music through responsible AI innovation and human-led creativity.
