Cliff Stevens opens new era with expansive single ‘Try’

Canadian musician Cliff Stevens has released his latest single 'Try' as the first release from his upcoming seventh studio album.

Known for a catalogue built across six records and years of international touring, Stevens uses the new track to explore territory beyond the style that first established his reputation. While his guitar-led songwriting remains central, 'Try' introduces broader influences and a more expansive arrangement built around layers of keys, acoustic and electric instrumentation, and full-band performances.

The song focuses on persistence during difficult periods and carries a message of determination without losing the reflective qualities that have characterised much of Stevens' previous work.
