After delivering a rich and enigmatic array of delights over the last few months, fast-rising German artist Diana Goldberg has now cemented her legacy to date with the release of her spellbinding debut EP 'BLOSSOM IN THE DARK'.

Featuring the previously shared belters 'DRIPPING IN MY BLOOD', 'FOCUS', and 'SAME OLD STORY', and showcased by the closing title-track, 'BLOSSOM IN THE DARK' sees the artist unleash some brilliantly powerful aesthetics on her formative collection. Channelling a raw and driven approach to the alt-pop sound, this new release is littered with fresh and inventive textures that see her stand out from so much on the scene right now.

Adding about the track 'BLOSSOM IN THE DARK', she said, “This one focus on the last stage of grief — acceptance and that leading you to blossom even in this darkness. The song takes place in a haunted house, which, metaphorically, is my mind. One of the main questions on the record is me asking if it’s okay to not be okay while also tackling society’s critical view on mental health. I describe mental health and my mind here as a haunted house that makes me feel uneasy and at the same time makes me want to go into the dark and explore those hard parts just as equally. The message is clear: despite all the downsides and fragility of emotions, it’s important to show strength and confidence — an empowering message toward self-acceptance and self-love to round out the EP.”

With a wonderfully progressive flow running through her work so far, it is clear that Diana Goldberg is set for big things in the years ahead. With such a strong and confident grasp over her sound so far, we can't wait to find out where this journey takes her next.
