Having spent the last few years cementing herself as one of the more distinctive and exciting names on the rise, Tunisian artist EMEL is back on those dynamic textures once again as she drops the pulsing new single 'NAR'.
Teaming up with Mali's first female Mandinka rapper Ami Yerewolo for the new release, 'NAR' makes for an incredibly immersive and impactful listen. Lifted from her forthcoming new all-female created LP 'MRA', which is set to be released on the 19th April, she is certainly looking to make a strong impact with this stunning new offering.
Speaking about the new track, she said, "It's about taking back control of our lives, our story, our colour, our word. We're building an army to take back women's voices."
