Released via Dig A Pony Records, ‘II’ is riff-roaring record that is sure to entice you in. The track finds blend points between indie-rock and heavier styles. "Morning Battle" is a suitable introduction, with thrashing drums and over-drive soaked guitars. Whereas tracks such as "Better Call Paul" pays homage to all indie-rock greats. A colourful melting pot of synths, grooving bass and drums and irresistible vocal melodies.
Discussing the records formation, GISS explain: “We aimed to create an album of songs about relationships in modern society. We wanted the music to be both as pleasant as pop rock songs and at the same time put in some quirks and twists to make it musically vivid and immersive. We've been writing and producing the material mostly on summer excursions to a mountain house over the span of the last few years.”
