Seattle-based indie-folk artist Hayden Everett returns with 'Killer Whale', a warm, emotionally rich single that captures the rush of new love. The track is the second taste of Everett’s upcoming debut album 'So The Sun Can Pour', set for release on April 17th.

Following the lyrically sharp and critically praised 'Angela', Everett now pivots into something more vulnerable and romantic. 'Killer Whale' blends his signature acoustic textures with sweeping strings and soft pacing, offering a love song that’s light on its feet yet full of feeling. Written during the first week of a surprising relationship, the track channels heady optimism and the irresistible pull of connection, closing with the striking declaration: “I will love you, but I just can’t love you slow.”

Already praised by outlets including Ones To Watch, FAULT, and Atwood Magazine, Hayden Everett continues to build momentum as one of indie-folk’s most sincere and nuanced voices.
