‘Headed for the Sun’ is the newest offering from Evan Isaac

Atmospheric and spacey, rising artist Evan Isaac arrives with his brand new single ‘Headed for the Sun’. Currently based in New York, the talent draws inspiration for a wide range of genres and influences, creating something particularly distinct and eccentric. Uniting both nostalgic sounds with a modern twist, Evan’s ‘Headed for the Sun’ perfectly shows off his musical expertise, as he takes listeners on a journey both melodically and lyrically.

In each of his records, Evan delivers a personal and honest perception of everyday life, alongside an infectious groove. He describes his genre as art-pop and interweaves layers of classic rock, hip-hop and different era's of pop and world music into his intricate sound.

Evan revealed, “This song began from a reversed organ track. A nice kick drum and percussive elements were then added. The mandolin line really made the track feel full. The lyrics are ultimately about the process of learning to love and respect yourself after experiencing many obstacles and knowing that the best lies ahead of you. Feeling at peace and love with everything. The track was mixed by Sidharth Gupta of Shoals who I collaborated on my last song with.”
