India International Music Week (IIMW), the country’s first-of-its-kind international music trade conference and showcase festival, unveils its first lineup announcement for the 2026 edition, marking the beginning of an expanded, globally inclusive programme set to take place from February 10th to 12th, 2026, in Mumbai.
Following a landmark debut in Goa in February 2025, which brought together nearly 400 delegates from over 30 countries, including representatives from PRS, EMEE (European Music Exporter Exchange) and CNM( Centre national de la musique), which positioned India firmly on the global music map, IIMW returns bigger, bolder, and more ambitious. The 2026 edition promises a deeper, more expansive format designed to spark collaboration, fuel cultural exchange, and showcase next-generation talent from India and the world.
This first announcement reflects IIMW’s mission of Global Music Mobility, spotlighting genre-defying, boundary-pushing artists across alternative, pop, rock, indie, soul, jazz, and electronic music.
Announced artists are as follows: soul-funk band Easy Wanderlings (India), alternative singer-songwriter Edwin Raphael (Canada), electronic jazz duo J-Silk (France), R&B pop artist Jasmine Kiara (Canada), singer-songwriter Jeremiah de Rozario (India), alternative pop artist Naari (Germany), folk-pop artist Reuben De Melo (Australia), jazz and African soulful music Siki Jo-An (South Africa), experimental collective the Tamil Jazz Collective (India), pop-rock artist Tejas (India) and art-pop duo Two Summ (India).
“IIMW 2026 is about giving emerging artists a stage and showing that music from India and beyond has the power to travel, connect and inspire. The artistry on display proves that South Asia is ready to be part of the global conversation and our artist selection reflects the spirit of IIMW - inclusive in genre, gender and by geography.” said Sushil Chhugani, Director, India International Music Week & India Music Exchange.
Returning with renewed momentum, IIMW 2026 introduces:
A more expansive conference + showcase festival format
New programme segments for innovation and cultural exchange
Multi-city artist tours and activations
Greater representation from global markets and Indian music ecosystems
IIMW continues to be a pioneering platform by India Music Exchange (IMX), a space where culture meets commerce, and where Indian music connects with the world at scale.
