Jada O’Neill's music is a melting pot of different genres and cultures. Her upbringing is directly related to this, as she's lived in a variety of places, including Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda. Her roots are apparent on her latest offering 'Can I Just,' an R&B infused summer bop that has groovy bass-lines and emotional vocals in abundance. The track is produced by Maniscooler, who has received accolades from Pepsi and NBA 2k, adding a wealth of musical knowledge on the track.
Speaking about the release she says: "I've recently been really inspired by Kaytranada's work, and wanted to make a house song. "Can I Just" is my first House/R&B and I really just wanted to share the feeling of going out , seeing someone and falling in love with that person and that feeling. That urge of suspense of seeing them again."
Her previous singles ‘Waves’ and ‘Bygones’ have reached over 1,000 streams and with 'Can I Just' providing a level up, it’s clear that she can go from strength to strength.
