Over the last few years, Brooklyn's Jeremy Lloyd-Styes has always pushed for a more euphoric edge to the conventional indie-rock sound. Dabbling with a multitude of different ideas and avenues since he first emerged, he is now looking to bring out the next phase within his musical evolution with '2K80410', a three-track EP that looks to heighten those endeavours he has always explored.
True to his form in recent years, '2K80410' looks to mark itself as a truly warm and effervescent addition to his sprawling catalogue of late. Keeping much of the traditional production stripped back in order to give it this incredibly raw and almost live feel, he manages to pack plenty of bite within its short runtime, giving us an insight into the more euphoric songwriting of his tenure yet.
While there has already been plenty of innovation within his sound recently, the proficient attitude he brings to '2K80410' really elevates his captivating persona. Shining with this fresh and illuminating aesthetic at every turn, he has delivered some of his most heartfelt and passionate material to date here.
