JW Paris return with a swaggering jolt of adrenaline in 'Anything', a track that barrels forward like a night bus tearing through Central London at 2AM. It’s the kind of single that grabs you by the collar and immediately tells you you're in for something loud, something restless, and something dripping in that unmistakable, grimy London charm.

What’s thrilling is how fully the trio commit to the spirit of a past era while refusing to sound trapped by it. 'Anything' channels the gutsy snarl of classic UK alt-rock, but with a modern sharpness that keeps the whole thing from dissolving into mere homage. The band sounds refreshed, revitalised, and ready to kick down the front door of 2025 with a song that burns like a cigarette held too close to your fingertips.

The guitars spiral like neon lights smeared through rain-stained windows, constantly threatening to spin off the rails. The drums are punchy, unrelenting, and tight enough to glue the chaos together without dulling its edge. And the bass sits under everything like a pulse threatening to race, grounding that feeling of chasing or being chased.

The heart of 'Anything' lies in its lyrical tension. The track captures the uneasy dance between self-invention and self-destruction, the itchy desire to become “everything” colliding head-on with the fear of becoming “nothing.” Lines drift between defiance and disillusionment, painting a picture of someone sprinting toward possibility while glancing back at the shadows nipping at their heels. That repeated spin of “around and around” hits with the force of someone who’s been circling the same emotional block too long but finally feels brave enough to break orbit.

And then the chorus explodes into something big, bold, and built to echo across sticky nightclub floors. It scratches that itch Britpop fans have been missing: the communal shout-along moment where the crowd becomes a single organism, sweat and smoke rising in one moving mass.

JW Paris are resurrecting the fire of the 90s, all while chiseling their own name into the same stone. And if this is how they’re opening the door to their next chapter, then their material to come is about to be one hell of a night out.
