Kelsey Kindall Presents New Single ‘Whiplash’

Kelsey Kindall’s latest release "Whiplash" is a testament to her natural ability as a songstress and personal development in the music industry. Her eclectic and imaginative attitude is reflected in her catalog, and her unparalleled originality enables her to move across genres with ease.

Taken from her upcoming four-track extended play, Goodbye Party, which delves into the freeing experience of writing something down and moving on from the past. The project's turning point is "Whiplash," which moves listeners from ignorance and recklessness to strength and insight.

"Whiplash" was inspired by several of Kelsey's encounters with murky relationships and conflicting messages. She attempted to negotiate the power dynamics that underlie the tragic misreading of modern dating because she knew this was such a universal experience. With a background in theatre, she draws the audience in with her humorous narration in between songs. With a promising voice full of inspiration, excitement, and celebration, she extends an invitation to them to share this vulnerable space with her.

“We wanted to create a song that was addicting to listen to, fun to dance to, and powerful to sing along to. I love the early 2000s pop icons, and I feel like the pop scene is making a comeback with so many breakout women lately. I wanted to lean into that world and pay tribute to the pop icons while staying in a familiar alternative world where my music lands,” Kelsey Kindall comments on the release.
