New Zealand pop act Kylie Price gives herself and everyone listening a much-needed pep talk on latest release " Keepin On," where she pulls herself out of uncertainties and frustrations with the uplifting anthem.
Striking a delicate balance between emotive lyricism and hook-laden, bold vocals, the track
channels the unsettling feelings of doubt, fear and loss into something anthemic and upbeat.
Built on a layered combination of acoustic and electric guitars which carries an introspective and encouraging message to stay true to yourself and your dreams. Written on acoustic guitar back in 2018-2019, at Kylie’s home in Dunedin, New Zealand during, "Keepin On" is infused with heavy rock electric sensibilities at the hands of producer Will Henderson, which bolsters Price's powerhouse voice.
Speaking of the track, Kylie commented: “Keepin On is the pep-talk you need when you're facing adversity and wanting to give up. It's the reminder to keep putting one foot forward.”
The track is supported by a cinematic music video filmed in London by New Zealand videographer Taine Noble (Six Creative).
Having swerved from country music into pop, Kylie Price has found a place for herself on the Official NZ Music Chart with her two previous singles.
