Luchi returns, revealing his latest single, 'Web of Lies.' The new track is an emotional breakup anthem, taking Luchi’s sound down a darker new avenue while retaining the tension-building power and sentimental writing that fans have come to love. Luchi’s commanding performance envelops listeners in heartbreak as he masterfully intertwines crisp, forceful drums, airy sound design, and gentle underlying piano chords.
Reflecting on the creation of the track, Luchi shares, “So I wrote 'Web of Lies' last year after a pretty bad breakup, which is the story of my life. It was a relationship built on so many lies, and that inspired the title of the song because one lie led to another, and he had spun a web so thick that I don’t know how he kept track. The song opens with how you fall into the trap, as I am an oversharer and often will tell you my life story after only knowing you for 5 minutes, but that’s great for a narcissist who will then use that to play on all your insecurities. It weaves through all the games and manipulation sadly a lot of us experience in relationships, and as the song goes on, the power builds up, which I love, and you finally say enough is enough and walk away from a toxic situation.
Growing up in Glasgow with his Italian family, Luchi has always believed that not much will phase him in the music industry. Debuting at No. 9 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter Charts with his third single reaching No. 2, Luchi has consistently seen chart success with 15 singles hitting the top 10. Garnering acclaim for his songwriting, he reached the regional heats of the UK Unsigned Songwriter of the Year 2016 and the semi-finals of the UK Songwriting Contest the same year. Luchi's passion for helping other small artists shines through his collaborative work. With 'Web of Lies', Luchi reintroduces himself after a brief hiatus, setting the stage for an exciting year ahead.
