'Cool Rider' is a song that understands love can be most difficult when there's nothing left to do. March Fry's latest release sits inside the quieter pain of watching someone you care about drift away from themselves, knowing you can see the danger clearly while they remain unable or unwilling to change course.

Taken from her forthcoming debut album 'In No Time', 'Cool Rider' explores the uncomfortable boundary between support and interference. Wanting more for somebody than they want for themselves can feel like devotion, but it can also become exhausting. The artist recognises that tension without simplifying it, allowing love, frustration and acceptance to coexist.

Throughout the release, she brings the focus back to personal responsibility. You cannot live somebody else's life for them; but you can offer an example, remain kind, and hope they eventually find their own way back.

The track also provides another glimpse of the world she's building around 'In No Time'. Written and produced by March herself, the album explores love, loss, freedom and the memories that remain after relationships change. Here, her blend of neo-soul, indie-pop and alt-R&B feels particularly well suited to writing that depends on nuance rather than melodrama.

Ahead of the new record, the single presents March Fry as a songwriter capable of finding complexity in the most recognisable human experiences. Sometimes loving someone means reaching out. Sometimes it means accepting that you cannot steer for them. And 'Cool Rider' finds the tenderness in knowing the difference.
