Mareya releases high-energy earworm 'ADHD & Me'

Writing about something so personal is never easy, and doing it in a way that can tear down the walls whilst drawing feet to the dancefloor is even harder, but returning to the limelight for the first time this year, Mareya makes it look easy with the release of 'ADHD & Me'. Based in Melbourne, and fresh of the release of 'Need You Now' last year, the new single brings pounding percussions and pop-punk-tinged, roaring guitars to centre stage. The single is anthemic at heart, wearing its heart on its sleeve whilst rewriting the rulebook.

Diving into the single, Mareya explains, “‘ADHD & Me’ is a song that encapsulates the ADHD experience while also touching on the sense of freedom I had when I finally knew what was going on with me. Knowing the reasons why I did the things I did allowed me to lift a lot of self-blame off me for being the way I am. I finally had an explanation and it was like a lightbulb moment for me.”
