Martin Luther McCoy has announced the release of 'Welcome Back Love', his first full-length album in over a decade. The project marks a significant moment in his career, arriving 14 years after his last album and reflecting a period shaped by both creative exploration and industry independence.

While McCoy has remained active across music, film, and visual art, this release represents a return to the album format on his own terms. The record draws from a wide range of musical influences, particularly rooted in the traditions of Black American music, while maintaining a contemporary and personal perspective.

Lead single 'Peace of Mind' offers an early insight into the album’s direction. The track focuses on maintaining balance in uncertain circumstances, delivered with a restrained and reflective tone.

The album also features contributions from collaborators including Stic of Dead Prez, pointing to McCoy’s continued connections across the wider music landscape.

Rather than presenting a reinvention, 'Welcome Back Love' stands as a continuation of McCoy’s long-standing artistic approach, shaped by time, experience, and independence.
