Energetic, soul hitmakers Bonneville are back with their southern style classic rock offering, in the shape of new single 'Maybe I'm Gone'. Glorious gospel choirs reign under sultry guitar licks that foreshadow a rip-roaring solo, with stylish lead melodies making 'Maybe I'm Gone' the ultimate festival sing-along.
A track for freedom, produced by Grammy winner Starita, the track is spearheaded by Wes McGee and Jeff Hayashi, who explain the tracks roots.
“It has an old The Rolling Stones / The Black Crowes vibe, with background vocals that give it that Southern gospel feel, which I love,” says singer and band member Wes McGee. “It’s a rocker for sure,” says guitarist and songwriter Jeff Hayashi.
Bonneville is a project celebrating a previous generation of Rock, Soul, and Blues, but it is
not backward-looking. With an album en route, and their writing moving from strength to strength, the band is headed forward with purpose - and we can't wait for the next chapter.
