Michael Paul Binz releases new single 'Cause U Are'

Indiana hailer hit-maker Michael Paul Binz is back with his typical alt-rock energy in 'Cause U Are', released earlier this month. Anthemic songwriting meets grunge, following his country leaning previous offering, 'Plenty'.

Straight in, a winding riff meets crashing drums, with isolated vocals, quickly joined by robust guitar work, leading the listener into a sing-along, action-packed chorus. High-impact, neat riffs, and powerful melodies are this tracks signature sound.

Inspired by Tom Petty, The Verve and Oasis, Binz channels rock grandiose of the 90s and 00s, while maintaining a contemporary edge that speaks to Michaels songwriting talents. “The song is about the ever-growing relationship with someone, whether it be from the artist to anyone listening, but specifically his love for the cause, which is what makes him be as an artist and person" says Michael. "The cause and cause being a word used as a play of words because they are why I do what I do.”

With Cause U Are, Michael Paul Binz proves his ability to balance raw power with deeply personal songwriting, creating a track that feels equally suited to late-night introspection and packed-out venues.
