Miss Vincent Share New Single 'Rosaline' And Announce Album Release Shows
Punk Rockers Miss Vincent bring us BIG news as they continue surge ahead to their debut album ‘A Funeral For Youth. Not only have the band treated us to a new offering from the album called 'Rosaline' but they have announced 2 special headline shows in London and Southampton.
Their new single ‘Rosaline’ is inspired by William Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and the symbolism towards the loss of innocence you experience as you grow up.
Lead singer Alex Marshall had this to say,
“In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo was originally in love with a girl called Rosaline. She is never seen, nor heard from, but her purpose as a character is still really important. She’s the reason why Romeo ends up in the same place as Juliet-and she also symbolises Romeo’s naivety and innocence that is lost to the torment of love. That’s what our song Rosaline is about: the loss of innocence you experience as you grow up"
