Modern Oli returns with his second single 'Transatlantic', following the release of his debut track 'One Of Those Faces' earlier this year.
The release arrives at a defining moment for the rising artist, who also appears in Season 4 of the Netflix series Bridgerton as Footman John. The character has quickly gained momentum online, with Oli’s TikTok amassing over 4 million views in the past week alone. Fans have begun connecting the dots between his on-screen presence and his music career, signalling growing anticipation for what’s next.
Written during filming, 'Transatlantic' marks a shift in tone from Oli’s more introspective material. Inspired by his long-distance relationship with actress Meaghan Martin, the song captures the rush and optimism of love across continents. Musically, it leans into bold ’80s-inspired synth textures and piano-driven hooks, with subtle audio details referencing Las Vegas, where part of the romance unfolded.
With a sold-out headline show, BBC Radio London support, and growing press attention, Modern Oli continues building toward his forthcoming debut EP in 2026.
