Texas-born, LA-based duo Most Personal make a ferocious entrance with their debut track 'Most Personal'. Co-produced by Louie Diller (of HOLYCHILD/“Brat-Pop” fame), the track introduces the pair’s self-coined genre: gremlin-pop, described as “instinct-driven, twitchy, genre-bending, breaking rules.”
The single is a maximalist rush of ecstatic production, sinister lyricism, and off-kilter dynamics. “If the end of desire / Is the end of suffering / I’ll always suffer,” they declare — before the track collapses into its chaotic, layered finale.
“It’s about vulnerability as a tactic and jealousy as a motivator,” the duo explains. “We’re holding up a funhouse mirror to the tropes that manipulate us as artists and fans.”
