Oceanside-based Chicano artist Obed Padilla is back with 'Broncos y Benzes', a sun-soaked, genre-bending single that perfectly captures his dynamic fusion of Latin hip-hop and street swagger. With its colourful rhythms and bold cultural textures, the track feels like a vibrant ride through the heart of Latin America, alive with energy, soul, and style.
Co-written with Billy Mann and Aftrhrs, 'Broncos y Benzes' showcases Padilla’s commitment to pushing boundaries and redefining Latin Alternative music. “I’m super excited for ‘Broncos y Benzes’ to be out,” Padilla shares. “It came out really dope. We had a fun time exploring different sounds and honing in on what I think is really special and needed in culture. I really can’t wait for all the new music to drop.”
The single follows Padilla’s eclectic EP 'They Told Us There’s 2 Types of Mexicans', which featured collaborations with Eddie Zuko and Austin Sexton, and highlighted his fearless approach to genre-blending. Fans can also check out his recent Minute Made Mixtape, released for free on Bandcamp.
