UK-based artist, songwriter, producer, and visionary, OXLEE, has made a name for growing a huge organic base as well as refining his core sound. With millions of streams, 10 million followers, and Grammy winning mentorship, via Ant Clemens, OXLEE has emerged as a forward-thinking pioneer, swapping his Aussie roots for UK rap - and taking the scene by storm.
Today marks the release of his newest release 'SUPER VILLAIN', under OKay The Duo, where he performs with his sister. Stunning writing meets glossy visuals, which trail across socials for weeks, driving engagement and fandom. This hectic content schedule has led to huge numbers as well cultivating a loyal base.
Diving into the single OXLEE says:
“This song feels like me going back to my roots as an artist. When I moved back to London from Australia, I felt like an outsider in my own home, like people didn’t really accept me for who I was. That pushed me into a different mindset where I stopped trying to play nice and decided I was going to make things happen for myself, no matter what. I was chasing my dreams again, but this time with a chip on my shoulder. ‘Super Villain’ came from that energy, it’s about taking what’s mine and not letting anyone stand in my way.”
With “SUPER VILLAIN”, OXLEE and Okay The Duo enter a new chapter. Defined by confidence, experimentation and complete creative control. As his audience continues to grow worldwide, it’s becoming increasingly clear that OXLEE’s ambitions extend far beyond traditional expectations.
