Poison Oak release riff-roaring new single “Found Myself”

Poison Oak have certainly received a warm welcome to the music industry. Their first single from their E.P “Losing Ourselves” managed got the band signed to Italian record label Epictronic. The single managed to impress and eventually managed to get into the top 30 for the Indie-Rock section in the Australian Songwriting Awards. It’s quite clear however, that their music impresses as globally as it does regionally, with fans from all over the world falling in love with their unique sound.

Their vibrant music palette shines through once again on latest single “Found Myself.” The single is a melting pot of thrashing drums, distortion tinged guitars and irresistible vocal melodies. The sound manages to find a new and refreshing take on indie-rock that pays homage to greats whilst also establishing their own sound. “Found Myself” is a huge step for the band and will be sure to propel them even further.


Speaking about the single, they share: “The song came together so fast from just a jam we were having when rehearsing. Ray had this chord progression that he was messing around with, then I came up with the main riff. Then we had the lyrics and melody literally five minutes later.”


With so many accolades achieved already, Poison Oak only strives to get better and better. Their music is signature, and matures every release. With a developing musical project, global fan base and fantastic, individual musical ability, Poison Oak are making 2023 their year.
