psykhi concocts a refreshing blend of punk and pop in 'Dyed in Wool'

London based Ghanian multifaceted artist psykhi takes an unconventional approach to music that is quickly becoming an all encompassing sound that relates to the many, not the few. Melancholically floating melodies that fuse pop-woven influences mixed with his powerful indie punk underbelly make for a compelling listen, and he has just released his new EP 'Forest People' with raucous lead single 'Dyed in Wool'.

The raspy vocals of psykhi mixed with the grungy guitars and spacious production bring a real 80s feeling to proceedings, in what is such an interesting and dynamic track once again from this multicultural and ever expanding artist. Relating to people who have ever felt lost in the EP meaning as a whole, 'Dyed in Wool' feels like the anthemic prodigy for the the record, with the floaty synths, eclectic bass and psykhi's one of a kind vocal tone.

A brilliant song and offering once again from psykhi, and it feels as if he just going to build and build as his profile grows. 'Dyed in Wool' is a fleshy, punk-ladened track that appeals to the masses, and that's what makes it so special and resonating.
