RAPHAEL unveils striking debut album 7 AM

Following a string of acclaimed singles released since his debut in 2023, RAPHAEL returns with his powerful debut album 7 AM. London-based, though Nigerian-born, RAPHAEL’S palatable passion for music has kept growing with every new step he makes on his creative journey.

The debut offering from RAPHAEL sees him produce a bold creative crossover between pop, electronica, hip hop and RnB. Stretching all the way through from opener ‘Vitamin U’ to the album's powerful closer ‘Fight’, 7 AM proves itself as a creative turning point for the artist. Stand-out tracks featured on the record include ‘Mad World’ as well as ‘Champagne’, demonstrating RAPHAEL’s distinctively soulful voice and dynamic approach to music making. Previous teaser single ‘Love Is Money’ additionally shines once again, cementing the album as a modern slice of pop music - brimming with catchy hooks and slick melodies.

Speaking about the release of the album, RAPHAEL explains, “I write about relationships, exclusivity, mental health, self-medication and finding spirituality in a material world. By sharing my experiences, I hope my story can be of value to someone in a similar situation. 7 AM is the time most people wake up. My music is about rising to the occasion of life and choosing to make the most of it. Musically, the album is comprised of seven songs that I composed in the key of A Minor, hence the title”.
