Saturated with layers of raw emotion and stunning balladry, the intense passion and energy of the track hooks you completely, and draws you into the sonic landscape of the song.
Talking about the inspiration behind the track, Liyah explains; “Do You is about letting go of a relationship that is unfixable.”
Surrounded by music from a young age, Liyah’s passion for music was nurtured and honed by her late uncle Earl Lindo ‘Wya’ - an original member of Bob Marley and the Wailers - who taught her the fundamentals of songwriting, as well as the piano and guitar. Pursuing a career in the industry, she went on to study music at The BRIT school; and is now placing her fresh take on a classic R&B sound as she embarks upon her musical career.
