Robber Robber sign to Fire Talk, share scorched new single 'Talkback'

Burlington’s genre-melting quartet Robber Robber have signed to Fire Talk Records, kicking off the next chapter with new single 'Talkback', their first release since 2024’s acclaimed debut 'Wild Guess'. The track bristles with tension and wit, pairing Nina Cates’ biting delivery with Zack James’ razor-sharp percussion and a barrage of fuzz-soaked riffs.

The band also shares a self-directed video for 'Talkback', stitching together infrared nightcam footage and animated overlays from their Vermont rehearsal space. It’s chaotic, hypnotic, and unmistakably Robber Robber.

'Wild Guess' earned end-of-year accolades from Pitchfork, Paste, and Stereogum, who named the band one of 2024’s Best New Artists. A physical reissue of the album lands in January alongside a digital re-release.
