Glasgow duo Saint Sappho arrive with serious intent, previewing their debut album 'Between The Lines' with its towering title-track.

The new single opens in delicate territory before erupting into a widescreen surge of distorted guitars and shoegaze haze, with Zoe Young’s vocal cutting through like a signal flare. There are clear echoes of Hole’s raw urgency and The Verve’s celestial sprawl, but Saint Sappho twist those reference points into something more immediate.

Written and produced entirely at home, the record leans into a DIY ethos without sacrificing scale. Across its thirteen tracks, the band navigate identity, grief and emotional reinvention, shifting between intimate reflections and full-bodied anthems.

Early cuts like 'Cracks' and 'Shoulder To Shoulder' hint at a project unafraid of contrast, while the title-track feels like its emotional centrepiece.
