Seafret and KT Tunstall team up for stirring new single 'Five More Seconds'

UK alt-pop duo Seafret have unveiled their latest single 'Five More Seconds', a rousing and emotionally-charged collaboration with the legendary KT Tunstall. The track arrives hot on the heels of Seafret’s recent releases 'Wait' and 'River Of Tears', continuing the duo’s resurgence in powerful, collaborative fashion.

Written during a spontaneous and creatively electric studio session, 'Five More Seconds' explores the weight of pivotal choices, those fleeting moments that can alter the course of a life. Anchored by richly emotive vocals and cinematic lyricism, the track captures the tension of indecision and the haunting “what ifs” that so often follow.

Speaking on the collaboration, Seafret shared: “When we set out making this record we knew we wanted to bring in some incredible people and collaborate. When we found out KT Tunstall was in town and up for it, we were so happy! We had no idea how it would go or what we’d write, but this idea started circling in the room and suddenly it was there in front of us like it was meant to be.”

Tunstall, long admired for her powerhouse voice and songwriting prowess, added: “It was such a great experience to write with them, and inspiring to witness their attention to the smallest details. We created a movie in our minds — a scenario with split-second intensity, where one decision could change everything. I’ve always admired their troubadour spirit and dedication to their craft.”
