Marking ten years since their breakthrough single 'Atlantis', Seafret return with their latest release 'River of Tears', a track that signals a bold evolution in their sound. Expanding beyond their acoustic roots, the new single dives into darker, more cinematic territory, offering a fresh perspective on their signature emotional storytelling.

With a UK tour kicking off in May, the duo—Jack Sedman and Harry Draper—are embracing a new creative chapter, one that blends shimmering melodies, atmospheric production, and deep lyrical introspection.

“River of Tears” explores the heartbreak of being in a relationship you always knew was doomed, yet still struggling to accept its inevitable end,” Seafret explain. “We originally wrote this on piano but found the darker production worked so well we had no choice but to go for it. This song was a turning point for the album and even a little for us as writers. It isn’t a style of song we’ve done in the past but it feels like we’ve opened a door to somewhere new and exciting.”
